At the centre of this product development process is the company\u2019s creativity and established industrial capacity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fabio Novembre&#8217;s<\/strong>\u00a0new collection<strong><em>\u00a0Concreto<\/em><\/strong>, which explores the theme of concrete with a\u00a0<strong>hyper-realistic representation of cement surfaces,\u00a0<\/strong>is an excellent example of this intense exchange.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The conceptual process starts with an\u00a0<strong>aesthetic and a material analysis,\u00a0<\/strong>fully capturing the features of the material, but then going beyond these objective facts by warping and emphasizing them: the\u00a0<strong>different textures and colours<\/strong>\u00a0of cement become the backgrounds of the collection in four shades &#8211; extra light, light, medium, dark and rust, reflecting the qualities of the base material through the use of\u00a0<strong>laminated porcelain stoneware technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Stoneware is the most advanced and sustainable building material of our time, a real tabula rasa to use to tell the stories of materials. You can\u2019t leave out a chapter dedicated to cement.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To narrate it, we tried to replicate the organic element in the mixture, the original material, water with its undulating movements (<strong>Tide<\/strong>), the absence of water (<strong>Dry<\/strong>), the stories of the creatures living in water (<strong>Reef<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Foam<\/strong>) and the effect gravity has on water (<strong>Drops<\/strong>). The result is a very physical, organic collection, able to adapt to any setting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>I grew up in one of those mythical New York lofts, an open space with few quite similar looking walls. In this setting cement, the material, and the impact of cement, is fundamental.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In order to give this kind of interpretive freedom to spaces, we arrived at this material from Lea.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Concreto is a collection designed for those who do not want barriers, for those who take on a life without breaks and interruptions, for those who do not want to live in a cage.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><em>Fabio Novembre<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>With the new\u00a0<em>Concreto<\/em>\u00a0collection<\/strong>, Lea Ceramiche is presenting the Slimtech line for the first time in the\u00a0<strong>new sizes of 120x120cm and 120x260cm with a thickness of 6mm<\/strong>, further extending the potential uses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Concreto<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>incorporates all the Lea Ceramiche qualities, presenting an innovative, sophisticated collection, both from a\u00a0<strong>creative<\/strong>\u00a0and from a\u00a0<strong>technical<\/strong>\u00a0point of view.
